I have recently become a trustee of Zephyr's, as the organisation became a registered charity. I first came across Zephyr's when we lost our twins in 2021 and was in awe of the support that Zephyr's provides to families at some of the hardest times in their lives. Professionally speaking, since graduating from the University of St Andrews, I have over 10 years' experience of working in both the NHS and the third sector, including a number of years as Head of Business Development for a national youth violence charity. I have worked as a commissioner of health and justice in NHS services and I am currently Deputy Head of Mental Health Transformation for Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As part of this role, I work closely with Nottinghamshire's Perinatal Mental Health Service and I have a particular interest in trauma-informed practice. Outside of work, I am a mum to a lovely 3-year-old and like to relax when I get the chance by playing my cello with the Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra.
