Hi, I’m Manisha (MNCPS, Acc.), I’m a perinatal and child loss counsellor for Zephyr’s.

I have years of experience in supporting and advocating for families during the perinatal period, especially around pregnancy after loss. I have also worked for the NHS as a Maternity & Neonatal Senior Advocate and am the co-founder of Support Me CIC, where we support diverse ethnic families during maternity care.

I also have extensive experience in delivering cultural safety training within maternity & neonatal care which I used to develop the training on Supporting Muslim Families and co-develop the C.A.R.E Model for Support Me’s Culturally Aligned Practice Training.

As well as my counselling work, I’m now focusing on bridging the gap between diverse ethnic communities and NHS maternity care, as well as working towards breaking down barriers in baby loss and perinatal mental health within the Muslim & South Asian communities.
