I first came to the charity when our middle daughter Ffion, died at 39 weeks on New Year’s Eve 2019. It was an intensely dark and difficult time followed by a very anxious pregnancy with our youngest. It isn’t an overstatement to say that during both these periods Zephyr’s saved me. In memory of my daughter and in thanks for the love, care and support I received, I became a volunteer, initially supporting fundraising. I then became the first Chair of Trustees when Zephyr's registered to be become a charity. It is an honour to be part of such a vital service, offering hope, care and love to families in the darkest of times.
