Wellbeing Walks – what you need to know

You can find directions by clicking on the link below:

If you’re driving, leave the A612 at the roundabout (with the horse statues on it) Drive down Racecourse Road right to the very end, where you will find a car park. We will meet you here. If you’re coming by public transport, please be aware that the nearest bus stop is about 20 mins walk to the carpark/gate entrance to the park where we will meet. Please bear in mind that parking is at your own risk, and make sure you carry any valuables with you (or leave them at home!)

  • Please wear and bring appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and for walking. We suggest layers and waterproofs if it’s looking wet. We will go ahead and walk in light rain (though not in severe weather)
  • You may wish to bring a small rucksack with a bottle of water and anything else you feel you may need including any medication. You may want to bring something (small and light to carry) to sit on.
  • Please note you are responsible for any medication needs. Please respond to this if you have medical conditions that we need to be aware of.
  • There are no toilet facilities at Colwick Country Park so you may opt to have a wild wee if needed!

We will check the weather the day before and if severe weather is forecast then we will postpone our walk and offer you an alternative date. In case we need to get in touch with you, please reply to this email with your phone number.

If you have any questions please get in touch with us. You can email us at contact@zephyrsnottingham.org.uk or write to Alison directly –  greenspacetherapycounselling@gmail.com

Lastly – the Zephyr’s phone number, should you need to be in touch on the day is 07915 995532

See you there!
